“A Run to Remember” is a community-oriented fun run. It is organized to commemorate and honour the memories of loved ones, and to celebrate life. Participants can write on a board the names of those who they are running for.
The run showcases the beautiful Mountain View Cemetery as a recreational destination. Participants can choose to walk or run two distances: 2.5K and 5K. This makes the event suitable for all fitness levels and promotes inclusivity and accessibility.

The starting and finishing line is located at the entrance of Mountain View Cemetery, 1210 Scenic Drive South.
Staggered start time – 10:00 a.m. for the 5K and 10:05 a.m. for the 2.5K.
The course will loop through the cemetery on paved trails. The 5K will be a double loop.

Strollers are welcome. No dogs allowed-dogs are not permitted within the cemetery. Please be respectful and stay off graves.
Please park at the Radiology Associates parking lot, 1122 Scenic Drive South. Parking is limited, so please consider carpooling.
Stick around to cheer the rest of the finishers on and wait for the medal ceremonies. The top finisher for each age category in the 5K will be receive a medal.
Age categories will be 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
This is an official chip timed race with live online searchable results posted during the race and full printable results and downloadable Finisher Certificates following the race.

Please pick up your package on race morning between 8:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. at the starting line.
